All horses competing in the Renswoude Horse Trials have to be checked and approved by the veterinarian, before starting the competition.
This vetcheck consists of:
1. Health check of the horse
2. Check of the passport of the horse
3. Judging the horse in trot
The horses have to be presented with a bridle and the head number attached.
Different procedures are in place for the CCI1*/CCI2* and the CIC2*/CIC3*. The passports of the horse competing in these classes will be collected by the show secretary upon arrival and can be retrieved on Sunday after completion of these classes. The horse inspection will take place under supervision of the Ground Jury and in a set order.
The passports of the horses competing in the CIC2* and CIC3* will be collected by the vet’s assistant and can be retrieved at the show secretary after completion of the classes. The horse inspection will not take place in a set order. In case a horse is referred to the holding box and needs to be presented for a second time, this will take place in discussion and under supervision of the Ground Jury.
